Just a short distance from Taipei 101 in the heart of Taipei City, P. Mauriat opened its first Artist Service Center.  This gives artists from all over an opportunity to test and play the wide variety of saxophone models made by P. Mauriat.  The service center is also designated as a place for musicians to try new accessories that are sold in the Artist Service Center and gives the player a chance to do so in one of two soundproof practice rooms.

Tuve un Mark VI alto, un Conn, Yamaha soprano, Buescher true tone, Selmer tenor serie SAII y ahora tengo un Mauriat 66RUL... feliz de la vida! probé el alto 67RUL y es como un Conn pero con mecánica actual!! Tremendo!!!

There are many excellent horns available on the market today but P. Mauriat’s 66 tenor and 67 alto rolled tone hole saxophones, 10 years after their first release, are still regarded as one of the special instruments by many horn enthusiasts.

This tenor is free blowing with a very warm and fat sound. It is very well balanced throughout the entire register. Intonation was also very good all around. The lower register sounds really deep and big."

"At the 2012 NAMM show, the P Mauriat System 76 2nd Edition tenor was a big hit at the show as one of the company’s models that offered the player a straight tone hole saxophone as well as keywork that is similar to some of the most popular vintage saxophones that many players are looking for today. At this year’s show, P Mauriat introduced the same model tenor but without the high F# key.
