Jakob Dinesen

Biography

Jakob Dinesen has been the most sought after Tenor saxophonist in Denmark the last 20 years with 2 grammys for best Jazzalbum 2003 and 2007, the danish winner of the Jazzpar-award 2008,the Roager-Prize 2011 and the prestigeous Bent Jædig-prize 2012.

He plays fluently both in straight ahead jazz and modern jazz-surroundings. His latest trio album is his second recording with legendary drummer Paul Motian.
