Alexis Baro is one of Toronto's Premiere Trumpet players. This versatile trumpeter was born in Havana, Cuba and completed his musical education at the prestigious Amadeo Roldán Music Conservatory in Havana. While in school he became a member of the Buena Vista Social Club super star Omara Portuondo's band, and later played lead trumpet for the National Radio and Television Orchestra at the age of 19. Upon relocating to Canada in the year of 2001, Baro has been working extensively, participating in more than 30 Albums and recording for some of the most transcendent Latin albums made in Canada, thus earning a great reputation within Toronto's music scene and throughout Canada. read more »Conjunto LacaluUpcoming EventsNo events found Latest Events
