The Ricky Sweum Jazz Quartet

This creative group of American jazz musicians have come together to form an expressive ensemble of musical sound that draws upon on their rich and varied life experiences. They perform regularly throughout Japan, locally and nationally, both as civilians and military musicians.

They hold full-time positions as professional bandsmen of the U.S. Air Force stationed at Yokota Air Base in Fussa, Tokyo. During their free time, they play original cutting edge jazz music that bridges modern and traditional influences.
