Lily Carassik is a 24 year old trumpet player based in London. Taking an early interest in jazz, soul and pop music she began performing professionally at the age of 15 and by the age of 18 she had already performed at The Royal Albert Hall, St Georges Hall in Liverpool and toured South Africa with a Trad Jazz Group. She was also one of few young musicians to be selected to perform at the Houses Of Parliament with Music for Youth.

At 19, she accepted a place at prestigious Music Conservatoire, Trinity Laban in London and offered the highest scholarship on record.

During her time there, Lily joined various DJ Live collectives and went on to play at various exclusive members only clubs such as The Arts Club, Tramp and Novikov. She was also chosen to perform across the globe, playing in Europe and countries such as Sri Lanka, Thailand, Qatar, Beirut and India. Meanwhile, Lily also went on to set up her own jazz sextet, which was invited to perform at Manchester Jazz Festival on two separate stages, including the main stage in Albert Square.

Still juggling her degree, Lily was awarded the Jazz Achievement Award in 2015.

Since graduating in 2016, Lily has performed alongside Bruno Mars for a private event in The Tate Modern and most recently, performed with pop sensation, Camila Cabello at the BBC Teen Choice Awards, see below for press.
